With a history spanning more than 100 years, we have developed an extraordinary alumni community that spans across generations around the world. From the school’s earliest graduates of 1973 to the soon to be alumni Class of 2026, YIS alumni share a lasting connection to the experiences, friendships, and values that define the school.

This century-long legacy is one of YIS’s greatest strengths. Each graduating class adds to a remarkable network of individuals whose diverse journeys reflect the enduring impact of a YIS education. Together, they form a living history of the school and a powerful source of inspiration and support for current and future students.
As YIS works to welcome alumni back to campus more regularly, the school is creating new opportunities for graduates to reconnect with one another and to build meaningful relationships with current students through panel discussions, service opportunities, and shared experiences. These renewed connections strengthen the YIS community across generations and provide current students with valuable opportunities to learn from the experiences, insights, and accomplishments of those who once walked the same path.
Last Friday’s Alumni Reunion was a wonderful example of this growing effort. Alumni from multiple generations returned to campus to reconnect with former classmates and teachers, share updates on their personal and professional journeys, and reflect on the experiences that continue to shape their lives. It was especially inspiring to see graduates from different eras discovering how much they still have in common, despite graduating years or even decades apart. We are making this an annual event, so we hope to see even more alumni back on campus for the event next year.
YIS extends heartfelt thanks to all the alumni who returned to campus and made the evening so memorable. We look forward to continuing to celebrate the achievements of our graduates and to welcoming even more alumni to future events. Whether they graduated recently or decades ago, YIS alumni remain an integral part of the school’s story. Their experiences, accomplishments, and continued involvement enrich the community and inspire the next generation of Dragons.
